Labor Day weekend we took a lovely, albeit not long enough, trip down to Carbondale, IL to visit Chris' folks and see their amazing new home.
Flew in to St. Louis. Hope to be able to stop here and go up on our next trip.

After a very delicious and filling fried chicken dinner at the lodge. We had such a wonderful time and we can't wait to go back and visit. Hopefully our next trip will be much longer!

Looks really relaxing! Hope they are enjoying it there! We really liked St. Louis when we went there almost 10 years ago. (Wow?) Glad you had a nice vacay!
