Paris

Not much needs to be said about Paris, except that it's Paris! Everything is so lovely and "French". Except perhaps the self-service Laundromat...that was the least "French" place we went :)
Be prepared for quite a few photos.....

Our hotel was absolutely wonderful.

The View from the Arce de Triomphe--Champs d'Elysee

The gardens at the Louvre

I don't actually know what this is all about. These were all along a pedestrian bridge on the way to the Musee d'Orsay....they all had writing or names on them. It was neat so I took a picture.

Ready for our dinner cruise!

Mmmm.....Foi Gras
Scallops

It sparkles at night! It was beautiful, like watching silent fireworks.

Notre Dame Cathedral

Amazing details!

Point Zero--The center of France. This is the point all distances in France are measured.

The Louvre

The one and only
Lovely Venus
Winged Victory of Samonthrace--I loved this!
We visited MANY other museums throughout our trip, but the Louvre was the only one that allowed.....or rather didn't strongly prohibit photographs.

The view from the 2nd "floor" of the Eiffel Tower

The view from the TOP of the Eiffel Tower!

I love these, you can see the searchlight from the top of the tower.

Luxembourg Gardens
This is one of my favorite photos from Paris

Fancy Chocolates from Pierre Marcolini
And of course, plenty of Wine!

I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

P.S. Don't forget to check out the other posts for Amsterdam, Keukenhoff Garden, Munich and Salzburg if you haven't already!

I guess I missed Paris while I was on vacation last week . . . good thing I stopped by today! Absolutely lovely, and my favorite picture was the one of Chris with the Eiffel tower in the background. Keep 'em coming!
